Your wedding stationery is more than a few pieces of paper - your once-in-a-lifetime love story is brought to life for the first time for your guests as they open your save the date or invitation. The design elements in your wedding stationery unify each detail of your wedding and brings your event to life. Stationery is the first and last impression your guests have of your wedding day - it should be special and reflective of you; a work of art you want to look at for years to come. Oak Leaf Design Studio creates brands for weddings that reflect a couple's story, and our creative process inspires a final product that truly captures every couple.

Years from now, I want you to look back at your wedding stationery and feel a surge of fond memories. Your stationery should be a work of art, a cherished keepsake that captures your sense of style and the importance of your wedding day.

I limit my clientele to give every couple's stationery the attention and creativity it deserves, and my designs incorporate custom illustration, hand-drawn lettering, and calligraphy to ensure your stationery is truly something special. Budgets for stationery typically range from $800 - $5000, but there are stationery solutions for every budget!

Six to eight months before your wedding, we'll talk in person or over the phone about your wedding, look at colors and printed samples, and create a truly one-of-a-kind concept. I'll learn as much as possible about your wedding, from the overall feel of the event to small details that could add a unique touch to your wedding stationery.

Anything can inspire the invitation design: a family heirloom, a hobby, a flower, your first date, or how you got engaged! Our goal is to learn about you, your taste and style, so we can help you express your unique story through our design.

Within 5 business days of the consultation, you'll receive a proposal based on the pieces and print methods discussed in your consultation. After review, a signed agreement and 50% deposit allow the design process to begin.
Your proposal will include a timeline, including when you’ll receive your proofs, printing deadlines, envelope addressing, and final mail date.

Design proofs will be shared via email. At the sketch phase, you will let me know if I'm on the right track, or if I should make shift the direction of the design. Using mediums like watercolor, ink, or digital illustration, I'll capture the feeling of your event - whether it’s traditional, modern, minimalist, ornate, or anything in between.

We will provide a second round of proofs based on your feedback. You will receive additional revised proofs until you are completely happy. If any additional hours are needed beyond what was in our agreement, we will check in before continuing. If necessary, we'll schedule another consultation to make sure you're completely satisfied with your art.

We will provide a final design proof that you will sign and return via email. Any final details and shipment information will be organized, and your custom stationery will enter the production phase. At this stage, the final payment will be due.

    Final Touches

About 4-8 weeks before your wedding, I'll follow up with you to create coordinating programs, menus, signage, thank you cards, place cards, table numbers, or any other day-of details you might need.
